1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the Shastra Vigyan website or mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue using our platform.

2. Nature of Services

Shastra Vigyan is a Vedic Life Management platform that connects users with qualified Acharyas for:

  • Astrology Consultations
  • Puja & Anushthan Bookings
  • Vedic Guidance
  • Spiritual Counseling
  • Mantra Jap
  • Religious Rituals and related services

Our services are intended to provide spiritual guidance and assistance based on traditional Vedic scriptures.

The 50 + 25 + 25 Principle

Shastra Vigyan follows the Vedic understanding that life outcomes are influenced by:

  • 50% Prarabdha Karma (Fixed Destiny)
  • 25% Purushartha (Personal Effort)
  • 25% Divine Grace & Right Guidance

Our guidance is intended to help individuals make informed spiritual and personal decisions. We do not claim to alter destiny, guarantee specific outcomes, or provide supernatural or miraculous results.

3. No Fear-Mongering Policy

Shastra Vigyan maintains a strict ethical code for all Acharyas.

Our Acharyas are strictly prohibited from:

  • Creating fear by exaggerating planetary doshas or astrological conditions.
  • Pressuring users into unnecessary rituals or expensive remedies.
  • Making misleading, false, or guaranteed claims regarding future events or outcomes.

Users who believe an Acharya has violated this policy may report the matter to our Customer Support or Grievance Team. Verified violations may result in disciplinary action against the Acharya and appropriate customer resolution at the sole discretion of Shastra Vigyan.

4. No Gemstone Selling Policy

Shastra Vigyan does not sell, promote, or compel users to purchase gemstones as a mandatory remedy.

Our recommended remedies primarily focus on:

  • Mantra Jap
  • Puja & Anushthan
  • Charity (Daan)
  • Spiritual Discipline
  • Personal Karma and Positive Actions

Any discussion regarding gemstones, if provided, is purely advisory and should not be interpreted as a mandatory recommendation.

5. Zero-Commission & Transparent Billing

To preserve the authenticity and independence of Vedic guidance:

  • Shastra Vigyan follows a Zero-Commission Model for Acharya Dakshina.
  • The Acharya Dakshina is displayed transparently during booking.
  • Platform fees, convenience charges, payment gateway charges, taxes, and other applicable fees are displayed separately before payment.
  • Users are shown a complete pricing breakdown before confirming any booking.

6. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • Successful payment,
  • Generation of a Booking ID, and
  • Confirmation notification from Shastra Vigyan.

Until payment is successfully completed, the booking is not guaranteed.

7. Cancellation & Refund

Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the published Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

Key points include:

  • Eligible refunds are processed according to the applicable policy.
  • All approved refunds are credited exclusively to the Shastra Vigyan Wallet.
  • Refunds are not returned to the original payment method, except where required under applicable law.
  • Wallet credits can be used for future eligible bookings and services on the Shastra Vigyan platform.
  • No refund is applicable for No-Show cases or cancellations made after the applicable cancellation window.

8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking and personal information.
  • Be available at the scheduled consultation or Puja time.
  • Provide correct address and location details for offline Pujas.
  • Maintain respectful communication with Acharyas and support staff.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Shastra Vigyan provides spiritual guidance based on traditional Vedic knowledge.

We do not guarantee:

  • Financial gains
  • Marriage outcomes
  • Career success
  • Medical recovery
  • Legal success
  • Childbirth
  • Any other specific life outcome

Individual results may vary depending on personal circumstances, effort, karma, and other factors beyond our control.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Shastra Vigyan platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, designs, and software, is the intellectual property of Shastra Vigyan and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Any personal information collected through the platform is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect user data and maintain confidentiality.

12. Modification of Terms

Shastra Vigyan reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Contact & Grievance Redressal

For any questions, complaints, or grievances related to consultations, Puja bookings, cancellations, refunds, or Acharya conduct, please contact our Customer Support through the official Shastra Vigyan website or mobile application.

Our team will review and address genuine concerns in accordance with our internal policies.
