It is highly recommended to perform this ritual on Purnima (full moon days), Ekadashi, or immediately following major life milestones such as buying a home, getting a new job, marriage, or the birth of a child.

If you select the package with samagri, our Acharya will bring all the essential ritual items, including fresh flowers, banana leaves, Tulsi, panchamrit, and the sacred yellow cloth. You only need to arrange basic household items like a Kalash, seating mats, an idol or picture of Lord Vishnu, and the homemade Panjiri prasad.
Panjiri is the traditional and mandatory prasad for the Satyanarayan Katha. It is a simple, dry sweet made by roasting whole wheat flour (atta) in ghee and mixing it with sugar and dry fruits. Families traditionally prepare this at home with devotion before the Pandit arrives.
The standard ceremony takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. This includes the initial prayers, the Kalash establishment, the recitation of the five-chapter Katha, and the concluding Aarti. If you choose to add a Hawan, it will take an additional 30 minutes.
Yes. While the Katha can be performed without it, adding a Vedic Hawan is highly recommended for additional purification. You can easily select the Hawan add-on during checkout, and our Acharya will bring the required ghee, wood, and hawan samagri.
